Checklist covering shared parental leave.
- Is the employee requesting SPL entitled to Statutory Maternity Leave or Statutory Adoption Leave or entitled to Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay or Maternity Allowance?
- Is the employee requesting SPL going to take a share in the responsibility for raising the child?
- Does the employee meet the continuity test?
- Has a woman who has given birth taken at least two weeks of leave (four if she works in a factory) after the birth?
